SolarReviews runs a lead marketplace for installers. You bid on leads in your area. Here is how its stated terms line up against your own account.

Verdict

Checked October 2026

Be fair

When SolarReviews is the better pick

  • You want leads flowing in days, with no ad account to set up.
  • You'd rather cap cost per lead with a bid than manage click costs.
  • You're fine sharing leads. Duo, Trio and Quad cost less per lead than Exclusive.
  • You cover a wide radius and want a steady feed across all of it.
  • Your budget is under $100/day, our ad spend minimum.

Your account

When your own ads win

  • You never want a lead another company is also calling.
  • You don't want prepaid credit you can't get back.
  • You want ads that sell your offer: lease, PPA, battery or cash.
  • You want signed deals fed back to Google so it buys more searches like them.
  • You want to own the account and keep its history if you leave.

FAQ

Questions

How does SolarReviews price leads?+

You set a minimum bid for each lead type in each service area and pick a daily budget. Price changes with how many companies share the lead and where it is. Bids aren't shown publicly.

What are Duo, Trio and Quad leads?+

Leads sold to 2, 3 or 4 companies. Exclusive goes to you only. SolarReviews says its average lead goes to 2.3 companies.

Can I get a refund from SolarReviews?+

Per its page, credit bundles are non-refundable, and leads can only be rejected for a wrong phone number or fake details. A lead that doesn't answer still counts.

Yes. You can keep a lead feed running while your own ad account builds data. Compare both on cost per signed deal.
